Do Not Ignore Bing With Your Chiropractor SEO

It is true that many Chiropractor SEOs ignore the use of Bing Webmaster Tools in leu of using Google Search Console.  While Google should absolutely be used, Bing should not be overlooked.  There are many people who argue that Bing provides a plethora of rich data, and should also be equally implemented, especially in your Chiropractor SEO.

For the most part, Google is the primary source of most web traffic.  However, Bing is often the second highest source.  You would never want to eliminate that percentage of website visitors, now would you?  It is extremely important to make sure you are making the most out of the Bing Webmaster Tool set up.  To reiterate how important Bing is in order to drive even more traffic to your webpage, you need to understand two things.  First of all, Bing and Yahoo have had a partnership since 2010.  This year Bing also partnered with AOL, meaning that Bing powers both Yahoo and AOLs organic search results. In addition to this, Bing’s market share continues to rise and rise.

Google’s Search Console and Bing’s Webmaster Toolbar have many things in common, however there are a few things that Bing’s toolbar offers that Google’s console does not.  Regardless of the similarities and differences, it is wise to also implement the toolbar in order to receive data that Google may have missed.  One way that having both features is useful is through the site security monitoring.  It is always good to have a second opinion, especially when it comes to monitoring potential harmful elements on your site.  Another way both features are useful is for monitoring crawl and indexation performance issues.  Bing’s Webmaster Toolbar will provide you a larger picture of what may be causing the issues; this way you can rule out whether or not it is google-specific.

Bing also has two new tools that can aid in Chiropractor SEO recommendations as well as keyword ideas.  The first tool is the Keyword Research Tool that provides organic keyword data rather than paid data (like Google’s AdWords Keyword Planner).  The second tool is the SEO Analyzer Tool which will provide you Chiropractor SEO feedback as well as recommendations for the web page that is entered. In addition to this, it will show you a rendering of the page source (like Google’s Fetch Tool).  All in all, you can see the benefit in using Bing in addition to Google in order to optimize your Chiropractor SEO.

My Favorite Kinds of Packaging Tape

I’ve been getting into “three part” miniseries these days, if you will.  And what I mean by that is that I have three genres to talk about, and I use the same basic theme when talking about all three.  For instance, this time around I am talking about “my favorite kinds”.  My favorite kinds of shipping boxes, my favorite kinds of shipping bags, and my favorite kinds of packaging tape.

IND_INDFAM_IMGcThis particular part is about the last group.  Now, I understand that most people would not be contemplating such subject matter.  As for myself, my job requires that I be intimately aware of shipping supplies (such as packaging tape!), and this post is a result of that.  And so, without further ado, my favorite kinds of packaging tape:

  • Masking tape. There is something about masking tape that is just soothing to my OCD.  It hardly ever splits and tears down into a little sliver of a line that basically ruins the whole roll.  You always know where the edge is, and right there you have eliminated two of the worst problems about clear tape.  That stuff can make you go batty, if you catch my drift.  Aside from the ease of actually being able to dispense the stuff, masking tape is great because you can write on it.  I use it to label all of my storage boxes and different bins and containers.
  • Bacon tape. You probably didn’t know anything about bacon tape, unless you have read any of my other posts on tape.  If anything that I have written has had to do with packaging tape, then I surely mentioned this kind.  And basically by “bacon tape” I mean any kind of tape with a fun design on it.  I have gotten a lot of tickled friends and family who just received a box from me held together by blue duct tape with pieces of bacon printed all over it.
  • Medical tape. In it’s own right, medical tape is a packaging tape.  This is because it is, essentially, holding pieces of your body together and that’s basically what packaging tape does (it holds a package together.  In this case your body would be the package).  The really great thing about medical tape is that you can wrap it around a band-aid for reinforcement and the next time you wash the dishes you aren’t going to have replace your bandage right away.  It is also a really convenient thing to have when you need to tape on some gauze, which kind of happens to me a lot.

My Favorite Kinds of Shipping Bags

This post here, about my favorite kinds of shipping bags, is the third in a three-part miniseries about my favorite kinds of packaging and shipping supplies.  The first two were about my favorite kinds of shipping boxes and packaging tape, and this one is about my favorite kinds of shipping bags.  You might not think that it is possible to have even one favorite in these different categories, let alone multiple favorites, but I am about to prove to you that it is indeed possible.

So far I was able to list three in each of the first two posts, and I am about to do it again with this one.  And so, without further ado, my favorite kinds of shipping bags:

  • Cereal bags. What, that’s cheating! you cry out.  You would cry this out if you had read the first post, in which I mentioned that my favorite kinds of shipping boxes were cereal boxes.  Well, I am keeping with the same theme here, but you couldn’t have the cereal boxes without the cereal bags, now could you?  No, you most certainly could not.  Cereal would be ruined if you put it straight into a cardboard box, and so cereal bags deserve the credit.  You don’t even need the box sometimes, as evidenced by the companies who just want to skip the middle man and sell their product right from the bag.  I rest my case.
  • Air bags. I don’t know what else to call these, but these are the little bags that come with air in them and are used as stuffing to keep the stuff from moving all around and getting worn out or, even worse, broken.  I love these because it is fun to burst them behind someone’s head and watch them think they are being shot at.  Totally hilarious.  I also love them because my toddler loves them, and anything that makes him happy means that I get a few minutes of happiness too.
  • Mailing envelopes. Yes, mailing envelopes belong under the shipping bags categories.  They are, after all, bags that you ship stuff in, which is what we are talking about.  Therefore, they apply.   I like mailing envelopes because you get more bang for your buck.  They are lighter than a box, and you can use the space provided more appropriately.  If you don’t need to send something that is super large or requires a lot of support than save yourself some moolah and use mailing envelopes next time!

My Favorite Kinds of Shipping Boxes

More than likely no one would stand around trying to figure out what their favorite kinds of shipping boxes are.  I am doing it because it is my job, and my job involves talking about packaging supplies and shipping boxes.  Somehow, I always come up with more to say on the subject.  This time, I’m talking about my favorites: my favorite shipping boxes, my favorite packaging tape, and my favorite shipping bags.  I will go into each category in greater detail in each respective post.  This post is going to be all about the first group.  And so, without further ado:

  • Cereal boxes. You don’t think these qualify as shipping boxes?  Think again!  Why else does cereal come in a box?  The box is just a mode of transportation.  You can’t go to the Kellogg’s factory and get Rice Krispies unloaded right into your mouth!  No way!  It needs to get put in a box so that it can be delivered to a grocery store so that you can go to the grocery store specifically when you want cereal.  It’s pretty genius, if you ask me.  And I know what you might be thinking, but it’s not BS.

  • Flat rate boxes. Although this particular subgroup is in direct affiliation with the United States Postal Service (otherwise known as the USPS), I have got to stand up and say that I I love it.  My best friend and her two boys live in California.  I live in Maryland (and we are each on the coast!).  Catch my drift?  We literally live as far away from each other as we possibly can.  So we like to send each other boxes and, as you can imagine, the cost of shipping is immense.  She once mailed me a large box of treats from Trader Joe’s and it cost her forty-something dollars.  Now that’s commitment.  On the other hand, she once mailed me about twenty cans of soup in a flat rate box and it only cost her fifteen dollars.  The convenience of sending anything you want to anywhere in the United States at a locked in price is just too good.
  • Recycled boxes. That’s right.  I’m not ashamed to reuse a box.  If I get something from Amazon you can bet I will save that box until I need one just that size.  I can save a lot of money recycling a box I got in the mail instead of buying a brand new one every time.
